Welcome to House Hero Handywork. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Services Provided
House Hero Handywork offers a variety of handyperson services including, but not limited to, repairs, maintenance, painting, carpentry, and installations.
Estimates and Quotes
All estimates provided are based on the initial assessment of the project. Any additional work wanted or required will be discussed and added to the current invoice if time allows. If time doesn’t allow for additional work, the work will be discussed, estimated, and scheduled at a later date.
Scheduling and Cancellations
Appointments are scheduled based on availability.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
Warranty and Guarantee
We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 1 year. If any issues arise within this period due to our work, we will address them at no additional cost. This guarantee does not cover issues caused by client misuse or external factors beyond our control.
Hours Of Operations
o House Hero Handywork operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
o Any work requested to be performed outside of these hours will be subject to an additional charge, which will be determined at the time of the request. We reserve the right to accept or decline work outside of our standard operating hours.
Client Responsibilities
Provide access to the work area and ensure it is free of hazards.
Communicate any special instructions or requirements prior to the start of work.
Remove or secure valuable and fragile items from the work area to prevent accidental damage.
Ensure pets and children are kept away from the work area for their safety and to allow our team to work efficiently.
Provide accurate information about the scope of the work and any known issues that may affect the project.
Notify House Hero Handywork promptly of any dissatisfaction or issues with the work performed, so they can be addressed promptly.
If you are sick or experiencing any symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment. For the safety of our team and other clients, we cannot perform services in homes where someone is ill.
Property Protection
We take care to protect your property while performing our services. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues unrelated to our work.
Prior to starting any work, House Hero Handywork reserves the right to take photographs of the work area to document its condition. These photographs are taken to identify pre-existing damage and ensure clarity regarding the scope of work. This documentation helps protect both parties and serves as a record of the property’s original state.
Changes to Terms
House Hero Handywork reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
